How to decipher errors
Error 1E or 1C reports that the pressure switch (water level sensor) does not work correctly or is faulty. On washing machines released before 2007, a malfunction of the water level sensor is displayed by the E7 code.

As a consequence, a signal is received and an error message pops up. Protect this part from kinks, or put the tubing back in if it is not connected.

Complicated Faults
- Damage to the water level switch. The washing starts, but it is clear that there is no water in the drum, the machine starts the heating element, there is a possibility of fire and breakdown of the heater.
