Viomi Cleaning Robot (V2 V-RVCLM21B) is an innovative robot vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi, the LDS laser is the basis of navigation, this is the first test of the company in the release of robots with such a complete set. A cleansing smart vacuum cleaner that uses 10 sensors to detect obstacles and the type of coating, adapting the suction power to it. What else does the novelty offer - its characteristics, pros and cons, we will consider in this review.

Design
The design of the model is slightly different from the previous ones, the case is in dark gray colors. At the top of the building there is a protruding tower, in which the same novelty is located - the LDS sensor, it scans the room and draws up its map. In the center of the top is a corporate logo. In the lower part, the central and side brushes are made of thermoplastic elastomer and nylon mixture. There are also two large driving wheels that allow you to pass high obstacles.
The case is compact, but its height is not so small in comparison with other models, it is more due to the protruding laser sensor. On the top there is one control button that turns on the power and returns the vacuum cleaner to the base for charging. Under the cover is a container for collecting garbage, tools for cleaning it. There is also a water tank.
Functional
The vacuum cleaner has a small size, but very high suction power, it collects garbage from corners, along walls, in hard-to-reach areas due to brushes and high power. It works in three modes: eco, normal, turbo. The noise level is relatively small.
Cartography and navigation are carried out using a laser and a large number of sensors scattered around the body. The LDS laser scans the room around it 360 degrees, based on the data received from it and 10 additional sensors, a cleaning map is created, then the vacuum cleaner starts working. The robot moves along the created maps forward, back along the lines, clearing all surfaces. All created maps are stored in memory until the next launch, while several map options can be saved, for this reason the model is considered optimal for houses with several floors or a large number of rooms.
The water tank is the largest among all competitors and predecessors. It is enough to accommodate a large size. A microfiber cloth is included, water is supplied to it, the surface is wiped automatically. The vacuum cleaner is automatically set to charge at the end of cleaning or if the battery level reaches a critical level.
To control the robot, it connects to the APP application, where you can set operating modes, schedule cleaning, control the movement of the robot, and set movement limits in the required areas of the room. Local cleaning of the selected area is also included here. The vacuum cleaner is effective on carpets, thanks to its large wheels and great flotation. On a smooth surface, its effectiveness is increased by wet cleaning.
