The famous American company Neato Robotics was one of the first cleaning robots in the Botvac "D" line to create the D75 model. This vacuum cleaner is quite advanced, equipped with advanced functionality and is designed to clean dry garbage, hair and wool from any type of surface. In the review we will consider the principle of operation and the capabilities of the device.
Appearance
The robot has an unusual shape, which compares favorably with other models. It resembles the letter D, with a straight front and a semicircular back. The device has dimensions of 33.5x32.1 cm. Its height is quite large - 10 cm. It weighs 4.1 kg. Neato Botvac D75 is made in white. At the top is the touchscreen, control panel and lidar for navigation. The front side has a mechanical bumper with a built-in infrared obstacle sensor. Equipped with optical sensors, it helps it detect changes in altitude. There is also an air outlet here. On the bottom of the device are:

- 2 rollers responsible for the turns, which are located at the back;

It, due to its size (length 28 cm) and low fit, cleans a fairly wide area of the surface, which is unusual for many robots.
Spin Flow technology enables the device to quickly clean all kinds of dirt on any surface, including low-pile carpets. An improved, powerful suction capacity of the device also plays a large role in this process. A volumetric dust collector equipped with a high-quality filter frees air from harmful substances and allergens. All this together allows the robot to perform its work efficiently and efficiently on one of the programs:
- Automatic. It starts with cleaning along the perimeter, followed by a transition to the middle of the room. Continues until the entire room is cleared.
- Local. Cleaning a single area with severe contamination.
The device is controlled via touch switches. Intelligent navigation is provided by real-time laser scanning. A special device - lidar - is responsible for this function. The patented Botvision and LaserSmart technologies provide an assessment of the parameters of the room, drawing up a route of movement. They provide a unique opportunity for clear and orderly movement and good orientation. If during the operation of the device there have been any changes in the interior, the robot is immediately rebuilt and continues to move along a different trajectory.
To delimit the area where the vacuum cleaner cannot enter, a magnetic tape is used. The display can be programmed daily operation, turn-on time and selected mode. Neato Botvac D75 is pricey - ... It is due to the availability of high-quality navigation systems and lidar. But a number of shortcomings do not allow taking the place of the leader among analogs in the premium segment.
