Kitfort KT-531 is one of the representatives of the manufacturer's budget series that does not have a turbo brush. The model performs dry cleaning of various surfaces, except for carpets. Designed for small spaces. The review details the features and functionality of a robot cleaner.
Appearance
The robot has a traditional round shape with a diameter of 29 cm and a height of 7.7 cm. It weighs 1.75 kg. It features an attractive concise design. Made in white. On the top panel there is a cover for opening the dust container. Above it is the power button. An infrared sensor protrudes somewhat upward at the edge, which serves to detect obstacles.
On the side circumference are a soft bumper for protection against collisions, holes for blowing air, a power button and a socket for connecting to the network. On the bottom you can see:
- two driving wheels on the sides;
- swivel roller in front;
- infrared sensors;
- suction hole;
- side brushes;
- battery compartment.
Specifications
Kitfort KT-531 specifications:
- dust collection method: cyclone filter;
- waste container volume: 0.2 l;
- driving modes: 3;
- power: 15 W;
- management: remote control;
- charging: manual, from a network;
- noise: 70 dB.
The robot is equipped with a 1000 mAh NiMH battery. A full charge is enough for autonomous operation for 60 minutes. It takes 360 minutes to recharge.
Functionality
The vacuum cleaner cleans the surface with side brushes that sweep the debris toward the suction port. Pile stands for the body, which allows the brushes to get farther than the robot can advance, for example, in corners or along baseboards.
The suction port is located under the dust container where debris is screened out by double filtration. One of the filters (HEPA) helps get rid of even allergens. A container with a handle, which makes it easy to remove for cleaning, which will often have to be done due to its small volume.
The vacuum cleaner must be put on the floor, turn on the button on the side, then click on the button on the body or select the desired mode using the remote control. There are three options for its operation:
- Auto. The robot itself chooses the route of movement, taking into account the dimensions and congestion of the room.
- Edge. It moves along the walls with the approach to the corners (around the perimeter).
- Random. Cleaning at random. The vacuum cleaner starts to move in a zigzag fashion, then changes routes to accommodate obstacles.
Vacuum cleaning comes down to cleaning the dustbin and filters. wipe the sensors and housing with a dry cloth, and remove hair and wool wrapped around the brushes.

Advantages and disadvantages
Despite the poor equipment and functionality, the robot vacuum cleaner does a good job cleaning surfaces. Its advantages:
- nice view;
- small dimensions that increase cross-country ability and maneuverability;
- ease of maintenance and use;
- three work programs;
- works on different surfaces;
- can collect dust, large debris, wool;
- remote control;
- high-quality filtration (HEPA filter).
Disadvantages:
- NiMH battery not used in latest generation equipment;
- small cleaning area;
- the vacuum cleaner must be charged manually;
- no local cleaning mode;
- cannot clean carpet;
- A small waste bin that requires frequent cleaning.
Kitfort KT-531 price is a little over ... It has few functions and not the most powerful characteristics, it cannot wipe the floor, it is limited in modes. It doesn't even provide for setting a timer. But the modern assortment of home helpers even in this price segment allows you to find a model with at least automatic installation on the base.
