Design

iLife A40

The robot does not differ from other models in the line and has the same stylish design without unnecessary elements on the body. The body is made of plastic and is designed in two colors - the main part is white, the bottom is black. The white top of the robot is easy to search indoors if it has not returned to the station on its own. On the top panel there is a protective plate made of tempered mineral glass. The body shape is almost a perfect circle. The body has bevels along the edges to facilitate passage of obstacles.

On the front panel there is one mechanical button that starts the vacuum cleaner; it is highlighted in different colors during the use of the device - green, orange or red.

The front side part is covered with a spring-loaded bumper with a slight backlash. It has tinted plastic windows, under which are hidden infrared sensors for detecting obstacles, searching for a docking station and a signal receiver from the remote control. On the opposite side of the body there is a power connector for manual connection to the mains via the power supply and the power off button Side pull-out container for collecting garbage.

At the bottom there are contacts for connecting to a docking station, a front movable wheel for maneuvering is made of elastic plastic, two driving wheels with tires are attached to spring-loaded hinges. There are also two side brushes, a battery compartment cover, a central brush and three sensors for detecting height differences.

Functional

iLife A40

The vacuum cleaner uses the CyclonePower cleaning system, which works like this: the side brushes collect debris and bring it to the main V-brush, which deeply cleans carpets. All litter is collected in a dust collector, where it is met by a foam filter and a fine filter.

Four operating modes are available:

  1. Auto - suitable for daily cleaning. To start in this mode, you just need to start the vacuum cleaner, then he himself scans the room and removes all the area available for work along the paved optimal route.
  2. Border mode - the robot will move around the perimeter of the room, removing the places with the greatest accumulation of dirt - around the perimeter of walls, furniture and corners. Infrared sensors are located on the body to protect the vacuum cleaner from collisions.
  3. Spot cleaning - cleans the dirtiest areas at maximum power.
  4. Maximum power - the robot works in the maximum available mode, while the battery is discharged faster. Suitable for cleaning carpets.

The vacuum cleaner can be operated manually using the remote control. You can program cleaning according to the schedule, but only for one time, there is no possibility to program the schedule for the whole week. The noise level during operation is relatively low, in normal mode it is 55.9 dB, with a maximum of 58.9 dB.
